Liv's Charity Skydive for Sue Ryder
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Liv and on 10th May I will be testing my bravery and taking the plunge in a charity skydive to raise funds for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.
Just over 2 years ago I lost my dad to Cancer. Sue Ryder could not have provided more wonderful compassionate care for my dad and my family. I cannot say enough good things about the carers from the Sue Ryder hospice. The team were friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, professional and went above and beyond to make sure my dad was kept comfortable and had his dignity respected. I know he was incredibly grateful for the wonderful care he received.
Jumping out of a plane is nothing compared to what my dad and other people face everyday living with cancer and how strong and brave they are, so I want to do something positive to raise money for the hospice that took such great care of my dad and my family in the last week of his life.
Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice is Gloucestershire's only inpatient hospice, day hospice and hospice at home provider. They support people through their most difficult times.
They specialise in palliative care and family support. When it’s needed, and they are there to help with end of life care. Their doctors, Sue Ryder Nurses and carers all work together to give you expert care, enabling you to live the best life you can.
Hospice care is what we call the treatment and support we offer to people with life-limiting conditions. They combine specialist medical care for managing pain and other symptoms, with other emotional, practical and spiritual support.
Every donation, no matter how big or small will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that is very close to my heart.
