I turned 70 last November. In March my body gifted me brand new cataracts. Right now I have a hard cataract in my left eye and can't even see shapes out of it. The ophthalmologist assures me it will get worse if I do nothing and he also says my right eye is heading in that direction, so I need laser surgery right away. I live on a fixed, inadequate income and have no savings or health insurance. I am essentially screwed here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
