Living Water for Africa's Kiddos!

Hello, my name is Missy Burger, I live in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, a very small tight-knit community that loves people and loves God! We have local folks that go to Africa every year to minister, tend to their physical & immediate health needs, feed their stomachs, and hopefully fill their souls with the love of Jesus Christ! It such an amazing group of people! They have dug wells and built churches. We are asking you to ask God what HE would have you sacrifice to help. We currently are raising money to build a local well/cistern to catch water......they desperately need clean water. Take some time today to pay attention to how many times you use water and how we take it for granted! Or even better, do a water fast! Go without using/drinking any water for 24 hours! ....no drinking, brushing your teeth, cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, bathing, watering the yard, washing the car, swimming, boating, skiing...the list goes on and on! We are sooooo blessed! Please help us bring clean water to these children and their families! We are all God's children and to those whom much is given, much is required Luke 12:48. Matthew 10:42 says, "And whoever gives just a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple- I assure you: He will never lose his reward!" Hallelujah we are blessed! We also are following God's leading in buying the local Pastor a vehicle to visit all the local communities, some of which is extremely harsh terrain. Join us and be a part of something that truly helps people in need and spreads the Gospel and the love of our Savior around the world. There is no such thing as a small gift when given to God...the great multiplier. I love the saying that anyone can count the number of seeds in an apple, but ONLY God can count the number of apples in a seed!!
