Living the life with autism

Many of you follow my posts on autism. My son Hunter is mod/severe and he is lucky to have a school that he attends in Los Altos, CA http://www.clcsped.com/
The school has a lovely staff who deeply care about enriching the lives of kids on the spectrum and teaching life skills so they can live as independently as possible as they become adults.
This year the school will be moving from the Los Altos Facility to Redwood City. While this is going to be a good move for the kids it will be a tough move. My son will likely spend an extra 1.5 hours in his commute and some kids who live in Gilroy, Fremont, Morgan hill will be spending 2-3 hours more.
Unfortunately, there is no other choices for these kids. So while the move comes with new spaces and opportunities like parks, a basketball court! and a gym it also comes with a lot time in the car. For those who don't know physical iddle time for a kid with autism is the pits!
As such, I've decided to start fundraiser to help purchase bicycles, scooters, basketballs , skates, and other fun physical education products to help these kiddos thrive in their new location.
As part of the fundraiser, I promise to match up to 2,000 for every dollar raised and I promise to share pictures on Facebook of what we've accomplished together!
I ask your help to give this population of kids the opportunity to find joy in their day.. to have play time and help them physically regulate themselves so they can thrive in other areas.
Thank you for supporting my son and the other 49 kids in their journey of education.
