Hi, I'm Erica ( Raven) Branch-Butler.

A week ago, I ended up in the hospital due to a severely broken ankle

( I'd thought it was a sprain), which led to surgery, and now is leading to Physical therapy...as soon as I'm released from the hospital.

Unfortunately, I live in a house where, in order to get to my room, I have to walk up five flights of stairs; my doctors won't release me into an environment they see as unsafe, but Medicare won't cover the piece of medical equipment that would change the whole equation- an " iCrutch", or iWalk". A physical therapist signed off on it it, Medicare won't cover it. So, my friends, here I am, with my hat out. The rest of the money I'm asking for is to cover expenses and bills because there's a lot of work that I can't do right now, and a lot of work I've lost out on.

So, this is my big ask of the year, and I'm forever grateful to any and all of you who have been kind enough to visit ot call or help out in any way.
