Living & Medical expenses for Shane Rice

My name is Tabitha Gouge and I am raising money for my mom and step dad. On Monday night my stepdad, Shane, suffered from a major stroke. He has a blood clot in his brain and the doctors were unable to perform any surgery. He is currently in the hospital and is unable to move the left side of his body. He will soon be sent to a rehab center where he will learn to walk and eat on his own again. He is only 47 years old. He has no insurance and my mom is currently out of work to be by his side. I am raising money so that they will have a little cushion so that my mom can pay their bills and have money for food and gas while she is out of work.
