Sam and Donia Key need your help.

Approximately three years ago Donia began to experience tingling sensations in her hands and feet; noticing an inability to grasp and hold items in her hands, and the occasional dizzy spell, sometimes accompanied with feelings of confusion and disorientation. The condition began to intensify in the subsequent months, and in the middle of 2020 it was becoming clear to Sam and Donia that something was seriously wrong, and their journey through the complicated maze of health care providers, medical insurance and government assistance began.

Unlike other diseases, this elusive and mysterious condition has proven to be difficult to diagnose by the standard local medical community. Donia has met with a variety of doctors and specialists all in the hopes of receiving a firm diagnosis as to her condition so that treatment and assistance can proceed. In the meantime Donia's physical abilities have deteriorated to the point that she can no longer walk, nor feed herself, or carry-out normal everyday activities without her husband's assistance. There are also a variety of disabilities both muscular and neurological that are too numerous to get into here.

Because of his care-giving responsibilities, Sam has found it difficult (if not impossible) to find enough free time to earn much needed extra income through the vocation for which he is best known in Coffeyville: Auto Repair. This inability to work, due to not being able to leave Donia alone for long, combined with their inability to secure a diagnosis of Donia's condition, has led to financial hardship for Sam and Donia.
