LIVING EXPENSES WHILE AWAY AT COLLEGE

Hi my name is Dora and I’m fundraising to help with my daughter Sophia’s living expenses while she is away at college this semester. Sophia is attending Santa Barbara City College and is a nursing student, she chose to attend Santa Barbara City College because their nursing program is rated 16th in the nation and she could have the college experience without being too far from home. I am a single mom and have been working 2 jobs to help her dream and those of her siblings a reality. While she is receiving financial aid and loans unfortunately it is just not enough to cover, rent, food and other necessities. She’s been looking for a job while living in Santa Barbara but has just had no luck. When’s home for breaks she works at the restaurant where she’s always worked. Unfortunately, even with me working to jobs the financial stating is taking its toll and while I hate to ask for help and am embarrassed at having to do so, there isn’t anything I won’t do to help make her dreams and future a reality! So I ask all of my friends and family to help me keep Sophia in attendance at the school of her choice, her rent portion for room shared with 3 other girls is $1550.00 plus her necessities, I thank you all for taking the time and helping with whatever you help with, it is greatly appreciated.
