An Update to my story, I am in the process of moving to be near my family. This move is costing a great deal (14,000,00 for the actual move , 3,000 for moving supplies and movers, plus $1,800 to ship a car, and 3,000 for a rental penske which incudes gas , food, and shelter) and is going leave me with less than half of what is in my bank account now. My name is Kristen , widow of Eddie Brenner. Eddie died suddenly, June, 5th , 2022. Eddie was a Marine and continued to serve and protect as a S. Police Officer for his entire life. We have two children, that are young adults. Eddie was a loving Father, with a great sense of humor. I lost my loving beautiful husband, who was my one and only love of my life. His death , unexpected, It is like no other pain and grief I ever felt. Eddie was always helping anyone that needed it. Eddie’s impact on people he worked with is absolutely amazing. Eddie was loved by all, but most of all by myself and my kids, my parents, his family, and very special brotherly connections. I miss him every second of every day.
Eddie was the sole bread winner, as I am physically
disabled, and have a TBI that make working
virtually impossible for me. I am chronically ill and have Primary Immune System Disorder. . This essential means my immune system is
broken and cannot fight of any type of bacteria or virus.
I do NOT receive any type of disability
payments. Before Eddies death, we solely
relied on His job too pay all of our living
expenses. I am in the process of filing for disability, but both being approved for disability and , and receiving a small life
insurance policy and pension of unknown
amount will be dispersed will take several months.
It is terrifying to not know wheremoney for basic living expenses is going too come from. The amount of Eddie’s pension I will receive is $52 after health insurance is deducted from it.
Eddie’s death, has been devastating. Eddie
was the love of my life, my soulmate,
my best friend. As my sweet cousin stated “Grief is a beast”I feel as though my soul has been fractured. I have to note that creating this Go Fundme has been a difficult decision, I am not one too ask for money, and frankly it is embarrassing, but I am left without any other options, at this time.
