Due to hate related incidents, Ember was forced from her job, hospitalized, and left hurt badly, unable to work in a conventional occupation. She's trying her best to rebuild her life, to keep going, to heal, and to build community for others too, but between medical bills and lost income, she's in bad shape financially.
At this point (November 2025) Ember is facing a real possibility of being unable to afford rent, or food. Surgery to repair her injuries are a distant blip on the radar. To someday get there, she first has to survive today.
Please help.

Ember is a woman who happens to be transgender, forced out of her job after a year of abuse that led to stress, physical illness, and eventual incapacitation. She was hospitalized in May 2025 due to blood loss, but even that wasn't enough to stop her. Her employer had to resort to drastic measures to force her out, and the damage is severe.
She is a mother, a secular minister, a supporter of several non-profit and community organizations, a civil rights advocate, and a friend to all who strive to make our world a better place. She'd very much like to keep doing that.
