I had my surgery
And things are going well and ❤️. I am walking to the restroom . It might be with a shuffle that I learned from my patients when I was a CNA. they would shuffle their feet and I would be amazed at how they got around and now I am using the same trick and it works. New shuffle coming soon. One day at a time .
Hi. My name is Melinda Logan. I was born in Germany and raised in Maryland in the foster care system and group homes, from the age of 16yrs until I was old enough to age out at 21yrs old. I moved to Georgia after being homeless with my then 2yr old and lived in some extended stays until I finally had enough saved up to move into an apartment. I am here today because I found out a year ago that I need a liver transplant and have completed all the pre-transplant tests and qualifications. I have been in and out of the hospital a lot and have been struggling emotionally, mentally, and financially. I usually am admitted into the hospital for weeks at a time just to be discharged and must play catch up on everything and still stay strong for my son, who just turned 16yrs on Dec. 19th, 2022. He has already been through so much with the way my health has been, and I am finally at a point where I need help. My son is my everything and I am all he has there is just us and I couldn't imagine myself not being here for him when he has already lost both of his grandmothers within a year. Anything will help and if there are any resources that someone may know about I would appreciate it as well. I know this won't be an easy journey but I have faith since I have already made it this far. All of the donations will go toward my medical care and living expenses. I thank all of you in advance and even if you just have a prayer for me and my family I greatly appreciate it as well.
