Debbie Cannavino's Road to Recovery

My name is Alisha Marklund, and I am reaching out on behalf of my parents, Pete and Debbie Cannavino. Our family has recently been devastated by a tragic accident that has left my mom, Debbie, with severe injuries that will permanently affect her ability to walk on her own. Her left femur was fractured, and both of her ankles were shattered. The road to recovery will be long and uncertain, with significant expenses looming ahead.

Her injuries have required urgent medical attention, including surgeries and ongoing treatments. Additionally, my parents’ home will require extensive modifications to ensure it is safe and accessible for her return home. These changes are not only essential for her well-being but also crucial for maintaining her quality of life. It is probable that it may take several months before she is able to return home, and she will be considered disabled.

In support of my family, I am reaching out to our friends, our community and compassionate strangers who may find it in their hearts to help us during this challenging time. Your donations will directly contribute to necessary home modifications and my parent’s living expenses. One week after my mother had her accident, my father’s appendix ruptured, and he has been unable to work. We anticipate that he might not be able to return to work for the remainder of this year as he navigates through the changes necessary before my mother returns home.
