Hi my name is Jeanette and I'm fundraising for my friend, Lindsey Waite, who is battling cancer. This is to help her cover the mounting living and medical bills, while she continues to go through treatment. Lindsay is a true warrior and this is her second bout fighting cancer. She was in remission for 2 years after an enduring fight with small bowel cancer. But in 2020 signs returned that things weren't right, and unfortunately the small bowel cancer returned and has now spread throughout her abdomen, bladder, and reproductive system. Because of the cancer involvement in the body, the treatments have been various, and to this point have included, Lindsay having 2 ft of her small intestine removed, an iliestomy for 9 months, a hysterectomy, bladder Stent that is now leaking and needs to be removed and replaced, many months of chemo, and blood transfusions. She has endured alot, receiving a high dose of chemo, and has more surgeries to face. She is physically weak and her health issues are plenty, but through it all she's optimistic and tries to hide it with that beautiful smile. Lindsay has been a great support and friend to many that know her, and she could really use the support of all of us at this time. She is not able to work or bring in any income, and the bills don't stop coming in. Her family has been trying to help as much as they can, but times are getting very difficult.
