Ken's Medical expenses

I debated back and forth on making this for my parents but I am seeing just how much extra financial expenses have been adding up for them the last few days since he went into Meriter on Wens.
As you most know, Ken had a triple bypass open-heart surgery. When he was originally having chest pain no one had expected this type of diagnosis. It came as a shock to us all and there was a lot of prayer around them as my dad made the final decision on what to do. In the end the doctor was pretty adamant about surgery being his best route. Thankfully there were a few weeks to get ready for the surgery and prepare.
The surgery went so well; Ken is recovery and hopefully is coming home on Sunday! He’s doing very well with pain management and has been getting up and moving a lot at the hospital.
Any money that is raised will go directly to them to use for various expenses as my dad is off work for the next 2-3 months. He will need to make many trips to Madison for therapy and appointments, they have already spent so much the last few days with food and hotels and gas for my mom to visit the hospital. Anything is a blessing to them; my dad is the main worker in my parent’s house so him being off is a bit difficult.
The cost of surgery before insurance was around a quarter of a million dollars! Thankful for good health insurance but they still have a pretty large bill left over to pay for. I know they are trying to not stress about it, as stress is not good for my dad while he recovers. I would love to see this burden taken care for them.
Most of all thank you everyone for all the prayers. It has been sure a huge support for our family and especially my mom. We love our church family and all our friends so much; Ken and Sandy are feeling so much love through this. And all the glory to God, he is the main one in this whole process that has given peace to my parents and is healing my dad so well.
