After many years of travel to India and expanding my knowledge and discovering my true dharma... LiveURYoga was born!
So I walked away from corporate america and opened my doors on 1 Sept 2017 and as all small business goes, the first couple of years were definitely a struggle but on my second anniversary, we were definitely on the up-swing and making strides, knowing that LiveURYoga was making a difference in the world! It's about living your yoga on and off the mat!
Like many small businesses, we operate on very small margins each month and in addition to this pandemic, as many of you also know, my business took a major hit in the Fall of 2019 due to massive construction snafoo at our shopping plaza.
Hence, LiveURYoga was closed for the entire month of October 2019, and we were the only business completely closed during this period, which made the struggle once again real, not knowing the pandemic was in its infancy stages. We were slowly beginning to recover from that loss and then pandemic caused our doors to close on March 17th, 2020 and our revenue to drop by over 70% essentially overnight.
Being a retired veteran, and a single mom has always given me the discipline and drive to keep moving forward, even in the most distressing times and now more than ever because there is still so much more work to done to help our community! Our mission and vision is transformation, empowerment and growth .... We need your help to continue to do our work which gives the give of yoga in all aspects! We did apply for help but we did not receive any subsidizing from government sponsored offerings, as the money has all run out! So, with great humbleness I am asking for help!
Our goal is to raise $10,000 from your generous donations which will help us pay rent, payroll, and our additional monthly operating expenses, which up until this point has been subsidized by my personal savings and retirement fund.
This money would help us sustain our business through approximately two 1/2 months of closure that has taken place and reopening.
Finally, thank you for being YOU! Community means EVERYTHING to us and EACH of you are why we do what we do and the gift you decide to give will continue giving and giving......
