We have a team that believe that this minority of young people need to be stopped.
We want to offer education, advice, support, and help to anyone who wants to be out of a gang, who uses a knife, who feels trapped by wrong decisions they may have made. We want to offer support to parents who may have concerns.
We aim to go to every High School in the Borough of Ealing to talk to young people about knife crime, choices they make and to hear from families who have had loved ones murdered by knife crimes. We would like to ask all young people to wear a L.I.K.E wristband and sign a Pledge to take a stand against knife crime and feel the voice of the youngsters will be heard loud amongst all ages. We aim for a unity of young people standing together as a voice.
Our visits to schools will also offer every pupil a chance to confidentially ask for help and support. This way we hope to reach young people that may not otherwise get a chance to get out of situations they might be in.
Your support will enable us to buy wristbands for all young people in Ealing. Offer help and support to parents. Open youth clubs that will help keep young people off the streets, educate younger children in schools and prepare them for situations they may face entering high school, to build relationships that will go with young people through their education years.
This is a huge programme that is being supported by Councillors, MP’s, and the Media. We are asking for £2000 to help get this programme start off successfully.
ALL DONATIONS WILL BE SPENT WISELY ON RUNNING THIS PROGRAMME. Please help us to help get knives off our streets.
