Liver Transplant for Pastor in India
Donation protected
I am Sherly Sunil, wife of Missionary Sunil Cherian. We are working as missionaries in the State of Jharkhand—Northeastern part of India for the last 23 years.
Unfortunately my husband Sunil Cherian has been admitted to the hospital with multi organ failure due to Hepatitis B, Liver Cirrhosis and kidney damage. Doctors advised that a liver transplant is the only way for him to live. The total cost of the transplant and pre-medical and post-medical processes will be $70,000 or 50 Lakhs of Indian rupees.
At the present moment, he is already being treated in Amirta Hospital in Kerala, India. We are facing acute financial struggle. As a missionary, it will be extremely difficult to come up with such a large amount of money in a short period of time. We are staying in a nearby rental house close to the hospital to start the pre-medical process.
My husband wants to be back in the mission field as soon as possible to serve the Lord and His people. That is where his heart is. We truly need the help and generosity of people like you to raise enough money to successfully do a transplant when a liver becomes available.
My husband is a great caring man, a preacher and teacher. At the very least, please keep him in your prayers. We are blessed with two children who are both studying in school. We are calling upon our beloved world wide friends and families to please share this fundraiser request and donate whatever you can during these difficult times.
God Bless You.
