Words cannot describe the pain in my heart as we reach out to kind people like you to help give Baby Jojo (only 6 months old) a chance in this life. Shortly after Baby Jojo was born, our little bundle-of-joy (our first child) started having challenges, starting with jaundice. His little giggling and kicking routine soon turned into frequent crying, and a swollen stomach. After several lab work, our baby was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia (a rare liver disease) which is eating away his liver and causing the swelling.

We thought we could manage the medical bills until another test recently showed Baby Jojo’s liver is failing rapidly, and has already entered the cirrhosis stage.

Doctors at the Korle Bu teaching hospital (Ghana, West Africa, our home country), suggested the only option is a liver transplant in the USA, Europe or India which would cost up to $250.000. In the meantime, our little baby is on heavy medication while we come up with the funds.

From the bottom of our hearts, we ask you to help give Jojo a chance in this life. Any amount you give will get us closer to reaching our goal.
