In 2010 I went for a routine physical at 40 years old. At that time the doctor found that my Liver function was abnormal. For about 3 months the doctor tried to correct this issue but had no success. I was then referred to a Hepatologist and with medication the Liver function improved. I was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis. I have never drank any alcohol, taken any illegal drugs, or smoked. No explaination can be given as to why I have this disease. Cirosis which was minimal has now increased and the Doctor has recommended a Liver Transplant. The surgery is very expensive and insurance will help greatly but there are still out of pocket expenses for the surgery and medication I will be on indefinitely afterwards. I am so thankful that there is an opportunity for me to receive another Liver and continue on with a more healthy life. Please keep me in your prayers and any donations toward this cause will be greatly appreciated.
