Liver for Lauren

I am reaching out to the friends of Lauren Swanson.  Lauren has one of the biggest hearts I know. She is passionate, loving of all things with four legs,  and can make you laugh like you have never laughed before. I met Lauren freshman year Spanish class and I feel fortunate to call this woman my forever friend. She has been there for me throughout the ups and downs of my life and now she needs me...she needs us to be there for her.
Lauren has not been on FB ticking people off with her political views, sharing an awesome receipe or fantastic meme. She has not been sharing her love of her latest shows or has not been posting a hilarious horse meme or cute cat video. The reason is because she is enduring the toughest fight of her life. She is battling liver disease. It is serious. She  underwent surgery to help the issue. Unfortunately, there were complications in which she now needs a new liver. Due to the stages and seriousness of her condition, she has been in and out of the hospital since November. Her beloved Fred has taken weeks off of work to be by her side and to take her to hospital appointments. Lauren did not want to share this with many people. But I feel it is time and truth be told, they need your help.I know that Lauren has touched your lives in many ways. I mean the girl was voted most contagious laugh in high school. I need her to laugh again. I need her to tell her jokes and know that people love and care about her. We need prayers now. So please if you are unable to donate please pray for Lauren and Fred. I left her house the other day and she looked up at me weakly and asked if when I go to church, if I can put her name in a prayer chain. If you know Lauren, you would know that this is not something that she would ask for. She is scared. Fred is scared. They need our help. I have never done one of these things before, but I wanted to do something for them, as at this time, anything would help.
