Liver cancer ruining the Kaba family’s life
Donation protected
These last few months have been devastating on my family because my newlywed husband and a loving father of two, Abraham Kaba was diagnosed with liver cancer. He was diagnosed with hepatitis (non-alcoholic related) in 2011 and has been on horrible treatment in Liberia. Recently he was placed on a lousy medication that worsened his condition.
By the Grace of God, he traveled to India in October for diagnosis through the advice of his doctors in Liberia. After his arrival, an experienced liver transplant surgeon, Dr. Sachin Daga, informed him that his only chance of survival was through a liver transplant.
After returning to Liberia, he was fortunate to have one of his family members who consented to donate a piece of his liver to him since there were no donors in India. The cost for the procedure, traveling expenses for both of them, hotel stay, and meals sum up to 40,000 USD. Currently, the family has raised only 10% of this because of all the money they spent on his first trip from Liberia to India.
I am asking anyone who can help, no matter the amount, to please donate to this fundraiser to help save my husband's life. Our kids still need a father figure in their lives, and my husband is important to our family. I could not even imagine the effect of his absence in our family. As you generously donate and share this, I hope you and your family can remember that your help will be enormously appreciated and could change the whole direction of our lives. You cannot imagine the impact of your financial support for our family. Thank you for all your support and generosity.
