Couples livelihood destroyed by racist vandalism

Hi :) my name is Aisling, This absolutely heartbreaking for me. A close friend of mine along with her husband, together an amazing, hard working and kind-hearted couple built something truly special here in Ireland: Papi’s Street Food. Three years ago, they started their food truck dream. Through blood, sweat, endless weekends, and countless sacrifices, they have created a little culinary home for themselves and for all of us who have come to love their food, their spirit, and their warmth. On Sunday night, their food truck was brutally vandalised. According to Gardaí, two separate fires broke out: one at a playground and another at a food truck. In their words, “mindless, idiotic criminal behaviour.” Their van was set ablaze, leaving behind not only physical damage but a deep emotional wound. This was not an accident — this was deliberate.have lost most of their livelihood because of this racist, mindless vandalism. Originally Venezuela but LEGALLY in Ireland for many years and supporting their children. They came here with hope, determination, and a vision. Their food truck was more than a business it was a piece of their identity, a way to bring a taste of home to their adopted country, and a symbol of their perseverance.by making a living through working hard, selling food from this truck. This fire has destroyed more than just property. It has threatened their livelihood, their stability, and their dream. Rebuilding the truck from scratch will be extremely costly repairing or replacing equipment, replacing the van’s structure, recovering lost inventory, and dealing with other unforeseen expenses.
How you can help:
• Donate: Every euro, big or small, will go directly to rebuilding Papi’s Street Food.
• Share: Even if you can’t give, sharing this GoFundMe with your friends, family, and networks means the world.
• Support when they reopen: Once they’re back on their feet, come by their food truck, bring friends, and let them serve the food that they and we love<3

Your generosity will help Ana and her husband rebuild more than a food truck. It will help restore their hope, their confidence, and the life they have worked so hard for. It will send a message that kindness and community matter more than vandalism and hate.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for standing with them, for believing in second chances, and for helping rebuild their dream.
With gratitude,
Aisling
