For the past few years Live Oak has been known for the strength of its Basketball team. This year we hope to continue in this tradition and have already begun planning for an outstanding season.
Unfortunately, our sports budgets at Live Oak are not adequate enough to cover the full amount of our team’s expenses. In the past, we have run had fundraisers at the school, parents and coaches have still had to contribute money from their own pockets to help cover team expenses.
These expenses result from some of the non-covered expenses such as the purchase of training equipment, awards and gifts to athletes, and the overall program.
Without our grant this year, we are turning to the community and our extended families to ask for support.
