Live life to the fullest: Help Ellie create lasting memories

In August 2021, Ellie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma of Left proximal Tibia. This is a rare form of bone cancer with only around 160 diagnosed a year. The plan was always to cure Ellie of her cancer so she could continue to live her life to the fullest but unfortunately, after a long and hard battle she received the devastating news that the cancer has spread and has short months left to live.

Over the last three years there have been some real ups and downs in battling this disease. From countless chemo and radiotherapy sessions, multiple surgeries and operations, and even having to make the difficult decision to remove her left leg. After her last operation on her lung to remove the latest tumour, she was excited to move forward and get her new leg, but she started to get unimaginable pain and became completely paralysed from the chest down. She was then told that she had a tumour on her spine which after radiotherapy ended up growing. After more scans they discovered there were several tumours and there was nothing else that could be done.

For those who know Ellie, she has been so positive and incredibly strong throughout this journey and has fought with everything she has to beat the cancer. She has made her family and all her friends so proud with grit and determination at every obstacle she has had thrown her way. She is one of the sweetest, kindest souls and deserves to live her remaining months to the fullest. Ellie is truly inspirational with everything she has been through always has a smile on her face and is checking on how everyone else is coping. Her mum Kim, Sister Molly and her family have really been there to support her through this relentless journey.

Ellie and her amazing fiancé Max, who has been a rock for her in these hard times, have had to bring forward their wedding from April 2025 to the end of November. By raising money this will help contribute to giving them the wedding of their dreams so they can celebrate their love and devotion to each other.
