Live for Shelley

We're raising money for the Kidney Cancer Association - an international nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering kidney cancer patients and caregivers, and leading change through advocacy, research, and education. No cause is closer to our hearts than one that is working tirelessly to find a cure for the disease that took Shelley’s life.
When our mom received her diagnosis eight years ago this month, there were just a few options for treatment and no chance of a cure. Today, because of organizations like the KCA, her prognosis and that of thousands of others is filled with greater hope for new advanced treatments and possible cures.
This Memorial Day Weekend 2020, we plan to gather as a family in San Francisco to hike Mt. Tamalpais in Shelley’s honor. She loved nothing more than being active and instilled in all of us a love for the outdoors and nature. We are excited to partake in an activity we know she would have loved, one that will bring together her children and grandchildren, friends and extended family.
Our hope is that this will be the beginning of a new tradition to remember and celebrate her life as well as her fight against kidney cancer. We are asking that you consider donating this year to Live for Shelley. 100% of your donation will go to the Kidney Cancer Association . More details to come soon about the weekend and hike.
