Olivia Kunik died from suicide on January 8th, 2019. She was 19 years old.
Liv excelled in musical performance. She played a principle role in the musical each year throughout high school. That is how I knew Liv. She was an important part of our choir family.
Liv was a beautiful, gregarious, talented, brilliant, kind empath who loved fiercely and advocated for anyone who felt marginalized.
She bravely shared her struggle with mental illness with many friends and family. She was committed to destigmatizing this category of diseases.
Losing Liv's enormous presence from this Earth left a void in our hearts and in our community. She was a daughter, a sister, a friend, a student, a pet parent, and a STAR.
With her family's permission, I have started this GoFundMe to cover the cost of a memorial bench to be placed along side of a trail in Longmont. Many of us would love a place that we can go to remember and celebrate this young woman who we loved dearly.
Thank you in advance for your support. No donation is too small. Please share our campaign on social media.
