The Hive Art Community is thrilled to launch our first Live Art Support Fund! We are raising funds to compensate our artists who take part in the "Re:Vive!" online performance series for their labor, especially during these trying times. We would be grateful for your donation of any amount. Your contribution will directly go to support performance artists and ensure future events at The Hive Art Community.
In the midst of this unprecedented break of live performances, ‘Re:Vive!” offers artists a virtual community platform that focuses on deepening the understanding of bodily representation.
On April 18th and 25th, 2021, the Hive Art Community presents our second edition of the online performance series "Re:Vive!". Inspired by the Women's History Month we are proud to invite eight female-identified and queer artists: Arantxa Araujo, Erica Gressman, Gaby Bila Gunther, Jaguar Mary X, Lariel Joy, Laura Hyunjhee Kim, Murta Azul, Romina Gonzales.
While cultivating moments of growing together and paying attention to our bodies "Re"Vive!" initiates passages to rework impossibilities and evoke response-abilities to be able to live with differences and initiate meaningful change.
The Hive Art Community is an art space and a performance art platform found in 2019. In 2020 The Hive Art Community launched an online performance art series to promote and support performance artists during times of pandemic.
As a cultural hub, The Hive Art Community facilitates productions and events that connect artists with the creative international community. From 2019 The Hive Art Community provided space to perform and exhibit the work for more than 100 artists from diverse artistic and cultural backgrounds.
