Following the success of last year, we have undertaken the same mission at Oliver and Live and Learn. 

Our mission is to alleviate poverty through education. 

'Live & Learn' believes that learning benefits everyone and that all children deserve to go through schooling.

This September, we have a small team heading out to Kianjai, Kenya, to help support the schools & communities by passing on knowledge, skills and sustainable supplies to support their lives going forward.

Our main goals are to:

- Put together sanitary kits for girls. When girls reach puberty, it becomes increasingly difficult for them to maintain their schooling due to lack of sanitary products. This results in many girls dropping out of education. Can you imagine not coming to work because you didn't have sanitary towels? Can you imagine keeping your daughter at home because she couldn't stand in front of her class due to lack of sanitary products? We can't - so we want to take the first steps to tackle this problem. 

- Provide training and inspiration towards future career possibilities. We will do this by providing interactive learning materials to encourage the children to start thinking about the career possibilities that are out there for them and broaden their horizons to what could be possible.

- Pass on valuable knowledge about irrigation and crops they could grow to help benefit and sustain the community in years to come.
