Liv's Mitzvah Project
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
I am so excited to become a Bat Mitzvah on January 30th, 2021, my 13th birthday! As many of you know purple is an important color to my family. Of course it is the color of the Ravens, but it is also associated with two causes that are near to our hearts, pancreatic cancer and Alzheimers disease.
For my mitzvah project I’ve decided to raise money to help find treatments and cures for these devastating illnesses. My grandfather, Bernard Robbins, lost his life at the age of 54 from pancreatic cancer, which is the 3rd leading cause of cancer related deaths in the United States. My great grandfather, Carmen Canastra, was one of the 5 million Americans that suffers from Alzheimers.
My family has supported the Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation in their mission to raise money to give grants to top medical institutions to support their efforts in early detection. The Alzheimer’s Association is committed to assisting with worldwide research, supporting early detection, and helping to make sure that anyone that is suffering, as well as their caregivers, has the support they need. I have included a gofundme link at the bottom of this message. I would love your help in supporting these incredible organizations. Any donation big or small will contribute to the end of horrible pain and suffering to individuals and their families. #powerofpurple
I appreciate your support. Thank you so much!
Love,
Liv Robbins
