Liv and Chad - Lytton Fire Mid-Move

Hello, I am Katie, Olivia's mom. On June 26th and 27th, Olivia and Chad, both BC Wildfire fighters, (Lytton Rattlers) moved into their new home, a first home for both of them, in Lytton, BC, the community they love. I visited their new home the evening of June 28th. The weekend had been blistering hot, and some of their possessions, including their new dirt bikes, were still in storage near the apartment they had been renting downtown.

On June 30th, Olivia and Chad were both working when a fire incinerated 90 percent of Lytton. The things they hadn't moved into their new home were burned, and not insured. Olivia and Chad are a young couple, excited to start a life together in Lytton. For four days, since the fire, they have been fighting the same fire that destroyed Lytton round the clock. They can't replace the things they hadn't moved to their house, which is still standing so far, but under threat. Financial help would help them get through this terrible time. Thank you!
