Donation protected
On Mother's Day 2019, Ms. Bianca Lattimore lost her home and practically all of her belongings to a house fire. Thankfully, she and her family evacuated safely, however they are now faced with replacing all of their possessions and finding a safe and comfortable place to live while recovering from this tragic occurrence.
Ms. Lattimore is a well loved PreK3 teacher at the Betances Early Reading Lab in Hartford, CT and upon hearing about her great loss, her students were motivated to do everything possible to help her and her family get back on their feet. We will be collecting physical items such as...
-clean change of clothing for each member including sleepwear and new underwear
-adequate clothing, such as school clothing for children and work clothes for adults.
-medicines and physical aids like glasses
-non-perishable food for several days
-Gift cards to department stores
In addition to these items, we anticipate a financial donation of $5,000 to start, will help significantly as the families needs will fluctuate over the next several months and they recover to a normal living situation.
The quicker we reach our goal, the sooner Ms. Lattimore and her family will be able to be somewhat comfortable in their living situation.
