Littleport Rangers FC 24Hr Charity Football-athon

Hello everyone!

 

We are Littleport Rangers FC and we’re looking to raise funds to support Branching Out and continue to provide the very best opportunities for local children playing football at our grass roots club!

 

LRFC is inviting you all to our event ‘Littleport Rangers FC 24Hr Charity Football-athon!’

 

When? The event is taking place on 21/05/22 from 9am until 9am on the 22/05/22. That’s right, 24 hours of non-stop 5a-side football! Don’t believe us? Come along and see for yourselves. Everyone is welcome!

 

Who and why, you ask? Well, LRFC is a football club in your community run by volunteer coaches helping local children. We are committed to providing football to all, no matter age, gender, religion or disability. Football is inclusive for all! At LRFC we believe sport is an essential part of children’s development, both mentally and physically. Football gives children the chance to; take part in a sport, improve fitness, work together, socialise and most important of all, have fun! All these things help children to build and develop skills which can be applied outside of sport.

 

Our chosen charity, Branching Out support adults with learning disabilities in a variety of fun work experience and social activities. Their high-quality staff team help people, with encouragement to overcome difficulties and achieve in everyday life.

 

What better way to demonstrate our shared values and commitment, than with a 24hr 5 a-side event for you all to see!

 

Where? At our home of course! Littleport Leisure Centre, Camel Road, Littleport, Ely, CB6 1EW
