Little Ozzy(Lin Doak)Surgery

" Hi friends, I am Todd Mobley a dear friend of Lin Doak, Lin recently signed with an agency who was aware of his need for surgery. Lin needs double hip replacements now and can barely walk and was promised by this agency to help him in his financial need if he could just get one 3 week tour out of the way. This was supposed to have kept Lin and his family afloat until after the surgery and his recovery. He is about to lose his apartment!  Despite Lin's ability to stand for long periods to perform and walk even less, he decided to give it his best and trust this agency in order to be able to provide for his own needs including the needs of his family and bills. Lin is very humble in his profession and the spotlight, yet has a lot of pride when it comes to asking anyone for help. Asking for help is the last thing he ever wanted to do. So I am going to do it for him.   Lin has worked very hard for many years to make a name for himself and what he does to be a well known entertainer throughout the country. He has pushed himself beyond his limits to try to do it for himself at the cost of causing more pain and problems with his hips. A simple task we all take for granted like just walking is an excruciating task for him now. The agency that promised so much has let him down. The agency promised Lin guarantees for his work on the tour. The first show was cancelled after they showed up in Arkansas, the second show turned out to be a dorr deal in Texas, not a guarantee like he was told. Lin barely made enough for hotels and food, The third show he performed 90 minutes and the management departed as they were loading out and paid him nothing. At this point he was promised if he could just get to Arizona the rest of the shows would surely make up for the few that he was then told were only booked as practice runs for the real tour that would take place on the west coast. Sleeping in a van, no food, no money, and thousands of miles from home had taken its toll. Finally after arriving in Arizona, there seemed to be some hope, 36 hours of riding in the snow and the rare ice storm that nearly shut Texas down, no sleep, and getting to the venue just in time to unpack and take the stage. Despite his pain, Lin did what he had to do in hopes he could come out with just enough to get his bills paid and to get home. Shortly after the show, one of the team members  assaulted Lin's assistant when Lin questioned the money. Then the owner of the agency  also assaulted Lin's assistant due to being called out on the "truth" of the matter. He was bullied and intimidated because the money was in question. Lin and his assistant were stuck, no hotel, barely enough money to get home, and being forced to sleep in a van once again with which was being driven by one of the people who assaulted his assistant. Luckily Lin had a close friend in Arizona who came to pick them up. Lin and his assistant were forced out of an unsafe work condition and were left to find their own way home from the west coast back to Virginia. This has been one tragic experience, One that never should have taken place, but the love for his family and his responsibility pushed him to try to make it happen so he could come home and schedule his surgery and take a month or two off to recover so he can get back to doing what he does best, performing. Lin is a giving generous, grateful person who performed at no cost for a senior citizen home in Richmond Va. Shortly after his appearance on America's Got Talent. He also has spoke to a groups of special needs high school students in Va. As motivation that you can make your dreams come true even if you are different than others. He is well known for giving and doing benefits to help others in need. He is also getting ready to head up a huge anti bullying campaign as he wants kids to know that they are all special and have all been given gifts to use in their lives to help others. Lin was exploited and used by management and did not deserve this treatment at all. He was used  for someone else's gain other than his own. He was lied to and promised to be taken care of and forced to leave the tour not even half way through for fear of his safety, his health, and losing much more.
Please take a couple minutes to help this man with any gift so he can get this surgery , take care of his family and himself.   He greatly needs this at this time in his life. Thank you my friends.  If I know Lin , I am sure he will be so grateful and he will contact each one of you in person personally to thank those who help him in his time of need .

God Bless  Todd Mobley
