Ron was loved by many and the outcry over his passing proves it. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and true American. He was a man of great integrity and compassion. He did things the right way because that is the way you are supposed to. He was committed to not only doing things that were important to him, but others too. He did not speak favorably of his childhood, but that did not prevent him from being a father he never had. A father that was always there when it mattered. He taught values and life lessons, while passing down his knowledge of all things learned using your hands. He was a prideful man who often let his actions do the talking. He had a candid smirk, rarely catching him with a full smile. If you were the subject of his sassy attitude, you knew you were loved.

He was tragically taken from us all at an age none of us expected and one in which he did not deserve. While we are on our own journey to process his loss, one thing is clear, the journey will be long and the support of one another is needed.
