Little Zigs Vet Bills

Hi all, my name is Sasha and I’m raising money for my little Zig’s procedure.

Zigs is a 2 1/2 year old beautiful boy who hasn’t had the easiest start to life. We got him as a stray but have watched his confidence grow over the past two years.

Unfortunately, on the 5th February 2023, Zig had been out for 5 hours. We knew this was strange as he hadn’t finished all of his breakfast and he’s a massive foodie! Luckily he managed to get back to the garden but we realised he was in a terrible state.

His whole tail has been degloved, he suffered from hypothermia and breathing difficulties due to bruising on the lungs. Sadly his whole tail will have to be amputated and due to losing skin on his back, they will have to do a skin graft to patch him up. We don’t know the cause of the incident but from the severity of the injuries, the vets guess is that he has been involved in an incident with a car.

My insurance will only cover £4000 and we have been advised that fees could be £8000 and maybe more depending on how long he will have to be under their care.

He’s a real fighter and we can’t wait to get him home! Any donations are kindly appreciated to get him back on the mend❤️
