Little Willie's rescue and surgery

Hi! My name is Willie, and I was seemingly abandoned in the Angeles Forest where I was lucky enough to find my way to a place called Wolf Connection one morning! I quickly made some friends that decided to get me help without any preparation - I very much needed food and water.

Once I was found, some extremely kind and selfless people spent ALL day long taking me from vet to vet until they came across the perfect place that was able to give me the care that I so desperately needed.

It was discovered that my back right leg was broken in 2 different places. The doctors said this happened about 2 weeks ago (due to the presence of scar tissue) while I was roaming around and looking for help.

I needed x-rays, medication and surgery ASAP to set my leg properly.

This all cost $6,000 which also includes the follow-up appointments I need to see how I’m healing and get me healthy once again!

I’m currently recovering in a very loving, warm, and safe home to begin my rehabilitation process. Turns out, I’m a FIGHTER that is just looking for some love and care. The doctors and everyone involved keep telling me what a sweet, calm, good boy I am and that I’m also very brave!
