Back in June, we rescued two tiny kittens who were left alone outside after tragically losing their mother to a car accident. They were just a few weeks old, malnourished, and scared. We've named them Tuna and Wink, and we’ve been doing everything we can to give them the life they deserve.
Recently, Tuna fell ill. She woke up with a swollen behind and bloody stool. After visiting the vet, we learned she has an enlarged colon that's making it extremely difficult and painful for her to pass stool. She’s already been to an emergency vet where they were thankfully able to help her, but she may now need lifelong medication and monitoring.
Both Tuna and Wink have another vet visit scheduled, and they still need to be spayed and neutered. Today we found Tuna has tapeworms and will need more care.
We’re doing our best, but the growing vet bills are overwhelming. If you’re able to help, even a small donation would mean the world to us—and to Tuna. Every dollar goes directly toward their medical care and giving them a safe, healthy future.
Thank you for reading and supporting two little lives who’ve already been through so much
