Little Trevor's Big Fight

Donation protected
Our dear friends, Joni and Cory Molloy have experienced the unimaginable. Joni went into labor 5 weeks early, and despite hopes of a normal delivery, Trevor Remde Molloy was born at 4:17pm on June 11th via emergency c-section.

Joni and Cory made the very brave and tough decision to life flight baby Trevor to Primary Children's after being told that there was very little chance that he would survive, due to several birth defects and issues.

Trevor entered this world weighing only 2 pounds 11 ounces and his stomach was also on the outside of his body at birth.

Only one day after having an emergency c-section delivery, Joni got herself released from the hospital in Ogden so that she could be by Trevor's side at PCH in Salt Lake City.

Trevor was tested for trisomy 18 due to many of the issues of his birth., and those results came back positive. The pain they are feeling is beyond comprehension finding out that little Trevor only has a 10% chance of surviving beyond his first birthday.

Even though doctors told them they had the option of removing Trevor from life support shortly after his birth, Joni and Cory want to give Trevor every possible chance at life. And though he's very small, he has a lot of fight in him already!

Trevor is an adorable little guy, and currently in stable condition. But his fight for life is going to be long. His parents are also fighting right along side him.

We are raising money to help Joni and Cory with day to day expenses during this difficult time. They live in Ogden but need to be close to the hospital to get every minute they can with Trevor. They will also need meals daily to help keep up their own strength. The medical costs associated with Trevor's care will also begin to stack up

Like you, we don't know why this happened or what the path forward for the Molloy family looks like, but we believe in the power of love and support from family and friends. Any donation amount helps.

We know that the amount of people touched by their story is far and wide, and many people have reached out asking what they can do to help in this trying time.  Having known Joni for years, we can tell you that she is one of the kindest and most humble people, and she would do anything to help someone in need. Now that she's in need we hope to be there for her like she would be for us.

"We are overwhelmed with gratitude! Thank you so much. I am so touched by everyone's support at this time. Thank you!" Joni and Cory
