Our friends Kenzie and Carlos have been married a little over a year, and they are the sweetest people. They are always looking out for others and making sure everyone feels loved.

They were excited to welcome their firstborn, Theo, into the world 2 weeks ago. From a C-section to Theo being in the NICU for a couple of days, this sweet family had already been through a lot, but they were always positive and knew that their son was a fighter.

With heavy hearts, we learned that Theo passed away on 10/9/25. It was very sudden and very overwhelming for everyone who knows Kenzie and Carlos. This is something no parent should go through, especially as they were just starting to find their rhythm with their sweet son.

Instead of being able to have their first Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc., with Theo, now they need to plan for a funeral. We want to be able to ease their burdens in whatever way we can since they will have some medical and funeral expenses that will need to be taken care of.
