What is it about? On August 28, our four-person production team is heading to Bogotá, Colombia, where we will be filming a professional documentary until mid-September.

Our goal is to shine a much-needed spotlight on children's facilities, schools, and kindergartens in Bogotá’s impoverished neighborhoods. While this project will show the harsh realities on the ground, its main focus is to highlight the hope and the relentless fight to provide educational opportunities for the littlest ones.

"Little Souls" is a long-term passion project For us, this endeavor is not a one-off initiative, but the beginning of something much bigger. Under the title "Little Souls," we are launching a long-term documentary series.

"Little Souls: Bogotá" serves as our pilot episode. Our goal is to build a powerful foundation with this first installment. Once this pilot is successful, we plan to expand the concept into a global series, drawing attention to the plight and potential of children facing adversity worldwide. By supporting us now, you are investing in a sustainable, long-term media project with a real social impact.

Financial Transparency: Where Do We Stand?

We estimate the total costs for the entire project to be around €8,000. To prove how deeply we believe in "Little Souls," we have already taken on the full financial burden upfront, covering flights, accommodation, and all early production expenses out of our own pockets.

Although we are set to receive €4,595 in confirmed funding from the Children's Charity for Bogotá (Kinderhilfswerk für Bogotá) during the current pre-production phase, our heavy upfront investments have left us deeply in the red personally.

To close this remaining funding gap and ensure the project remains liquid and secure on the ground during our intensive shooting phase in Bogotá this August and September, we need your support.
