Chelsey, Andrew, Sawyer and Corbin have been through a whirl wind in the last few days. Sunday night, 8 month old Sawyer was not being himself and had a bit of a fever. Mother’s instinct kicked in and Chelsey took him to emergency in Moosomin late that night. Sawyer was checked over only to be sent home and told it was nothing. The night at home was rough and Monday morning Chelsey decided to take Sawyer back to emergency. Andrew met them at the hospital and they were only there for a short time when Sawyer started having a seizure. He was rushed to the trauma room with Doctors and Nurses acting fast to get poor little Sawyer stabilized. Once the seizure had stopped and Sawyer was stable, Sawyer was airlifted to Regina by air ambulance.

At this time, it is believed that Sawyer has a very terrible infection and became very dehydrated causing him to have a seizure. But for now, Sawyer will remain in the Regina hospital with his family by his side until they have more answers.

With Chelsey, Andrew and Corbin by Sawyer’s side in Regina, they are accumulating many bills that are adding to the stress of the situation. Andrew is also putting work on hold to stay by his family’s side.
