Little Root Needs Help in Securing Licensure

Join Little Root on Our Journey to Becoming a “Preschool for All” Site

For over ten years, Little Root has been a place where children can learn, play, and grow in a nurturing, nature-based setting. In 2020, we took our program fully outdoors to deepen our commitment to outdoor, play-centered education. Now, as we look to expand access to more families, we are working toward becoming a “Preschool for All” program—making high-quality early education available to children of all income levels.

To reach this goal, our first step is to secure a permanent licensure. A key part of this requirement involves upgrading our facilities from composting potties to a dry flush system. Thanks to a generous discount from Laveo Dry Flush Toilets, we have an opportunity to purchase this system for $2,200 instead of the original $4,756.

We hope to raise $2,200 by November 22 to complete this critical step. With your support, we’ll be able to move forward with our plan to become a fully licensed program, putting us on the necessary track to reach our “Preschool for All” goal by the 2025-2026 school year.
