On Saturday evening our family was struck with tragedy. Little Owen, only 14 years old, a light in our lives, suffered a gun shot wound to the head. He received initial surgery at Geisinger and was life flighted to a Philadelphia based trauma center where as our family experience tells is the best place for his care. Currently he is not concious and in critical care , fighting for his life with his parents and family by his side. This is a minute by minute battle.

As a mother whom has experienced the expenses of long term stays in hospitals not only is it emotionally and physically exhausting but the worries of finances are trying also.

This fund is to be used for medical expenses, travel expenses for the family, food, and to support Mom and Dad while not receiving any financial income.
