Nola’s Story
After weeks of being unwell, little Nola, just two years old, was admitted to Whiston Hospital in May this year. What was first dismissed as “just viral symptoms” turned out to be something far more serious. Her infection markers were dangerously high, and despite multiple antibiotics, x-rays, and blood tests, her tiny body wasn’t responding. Doctors were baffled and desperate for answers.
Nola and her family's world changed forever. She was diagnosed with a serious illness, Neurblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that required immediate chemotherapy. What Is Neuroblastoma?
Her Brave Battle
Since that day, Nola has faced more than most adults will in a lifetime. She has already completed eight rounds of chemotherapy, showing unbelievable courage and strength throughout every single one.
She is now undergoing intense chemotherapy in isolation, after which her stem cells will be returned to her body to help her recover. How quickly she heals will determine how long she must remain isolated. Then it's two weeks of radiation therapy, followed by twelve months of maintenance treatment to rebuild her immune system and give her the best chance at a healthy, happy life.
Why I Need Your Help
This journey has taken an enormous emotional and financial toll on Nola’s family. Between long hospital stays, travel, time away from work, and ongoing care needs, the costs continue to build. To help raise funds, I am taking part in the Battle Cancer Challenge in Dubai on 25th October. I'm part of a team of 4 named The Overachievers, and we are enduring a few weeks of intense training and early morning workouts to attempt heavy snatches ahead of the big sweaty challenge in the Dubai heat - but that's nothing compared to what Nola is going through!
Your donation — no matter how big or small — will go directly towards:
* Supporting Nola’s ongoing medical treatment and recovery
* Covering travel and accommodation costs for hospital visits
* Helping her family focus entirely on her healing, not financial stress
*A trip to Disneyland Paris when she is feeling better and has something to look forward to
How You Can Help

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for standing with Nola and her family during the hardest fight of her young life.
