Hi, my name is Nancy Mathiason and Clara is my granddaughter. Clara has always been an active happy little girl. Her journey started on April 15th with several doctor visits trying to diagnose her health issues. They brought to her urgent care & ER in St Cloud, ER at Children's Hospital and ER at the Mayo Hospital. On May 7, they were told that Clara had a small mass above her kidney on the adrenal gland called Neuroblastoma. The team of doctors at Mayo are working on a plan that will help our little Ms. Clara. They are talking about being there for several more weeks and with more treatment to follow that is unknown at this time;.

Michael and Sarah are the most kind hearted and giving human beings I know. They are so compassionate and are always willing to help others. I want them to know that there are alot of people that want to return the favor and help them during this difficult time. I started this Go Fund Me because they are going to have alot of medical bills, hotels, gas, and food expenses. They also both have exhausted their PTO/Sick Time at their jobs. They had to take days off for Clara's appointments and also for their two other daughters when they were ill. The funds they receive, would help with all of this but more importantly Michael and Sarah can be there together to support each other during Clara's journey.

As treatment happens we will be updating this fundraiser to keep everyone informed.
