Little Mountain Gallery had originally planned a fundraiser March 27 & 28 to raise money dealing with the rezoning of our current venue and to help find a new potential location.
But the COVID-19 pandemic and associated isolation means that, for the safety of our community, we need to cancel this event.
While we continue to proactively search for a new space, Little Mountain Gallery still needs to pay the bills at our current location while shutting down our regular programming during the pandemic.
Although new information is coming out rapidly, Little Mountain's day-to-day operations as they stand now can not continue for the foreseeable future for safety reasons.
This outbreak has created an environment where Little Mountain Gallery, like many other small operations, is in crisis with paying basic expenses and ensuring that we can continue to operate when this pandemic and its associated restrictions is over.
Our not-for-profit model, where comedians take the bar and ticket sales from their productions, means that Little Mountain Gallery depends on regular rental fees to pay for expenses. This break-even model means that we have very little cash in reserve in the event of an emergency or unexpected expense.
With this in mind, and acknowledging the realities of our community-based, not-for-profit business operation, we appreciate any support you are able to offer during this time.
We understand that many of our friends and families are also in serious financial trouble and taking care of yourselves and your loved ones takes priority during this time.
