Little Miss Lottie - Spinal Surgery

Hello! My name is Dianna and I am a registered veterinary technician who loves helping animals. I have had a special place in my heart for French Bulldogs who have had medical problems and needed new homes. I recently lost my first dog, a Frenchie with hind limb paralysis unexpectedly to cancer at Christmas. He left behind his adopted sister, my second special needs Frenchie named Little Miss Lottie who has been my rock through the grief. She had an unexpected emergency this week and lost complete ability to use her hind legs. A fantastic veterinary team took her in for immediate medical attention and surgical intervention and we are hopeful she will gain her ability to use her hind legs again! Rehabilitation is a long uphill battle for Lottie and I but I have hope she will walk again. Though this is a common condition, I was unprepared for the sudden onset of this situation and unfortunately, even though she is insured, this was a pre-existing condition so it is not covered leaving me with the full expense.

I'm reaching out to the community to ask for financial help with some of her medical costs. The amazing vet team did everything they could to help keep costs down for me. The amount I am fundraising for is not the full cost of an emergency surgery for this situation but this amount will considerably help me. Any amount helps! I am a single person living a modest life and my sweet dog keeps me grounded.

I adopted Lottie in 2023 from a wonderful rescue called Special Needs Animal Rescue League (@snarlrescue on Instagram). They do wonderful work with animals in Canada and the United States.
