Miss Lillys 2nd fight against brain cancer

Lilly was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was 1 year old and after a successful fight over the last two years, the doctors have found a new spot on her last scan. Unsure without further testing, we continue to pray for the best news but no matter what Lilly must undergo a second brain surgery.

At first the drs planned an immediate surgery schedule for December 5th but considering Christmas and the holidays they are hoping to push the surgery until January 9th (pending a second approval from an expert team at Saint Jude’s) so that Lilly, her sister Makayla, her mama Sandy, and her father Jacob can have a normal Christmas before she goes under for her serious operation. Waiting to remove the tumor risks the chance of it spreading to other areas but with a second opinion that it will be safe to wait, no 3 year old should have to spend Christmas in the hospital recovering from brain surgery.

The journey to recovery is never certain but we know that Sandy and Jacob will need to be in the hospital with their little girl recovering for at least a few weeks, meaning Jacob will miss out on pay, they will be separated from their other child and spend the new year admitted to the PICU.

Please, donate whatever you can to give this family as much time together in recovery as we can, a beautiful and normal Christmas, and at the very least send a powerful prayer to God to keep this little precious child safe.
