Little Loui Needs Your Support

Hi everyone, my best friend Kaitlyns, best friend (her lil Loui) was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancerous tumors that are spreading rapidly.

He wasn’t feeling well, so she brought him to the vet, thinking it was a common cold. They said he needed an ultrasound after the bloodwork came back with concerning results. The doctors told her to be prepared for an option to put him down (that’s when she lost it).

She then took him to the Red Bank Animal Hospital where they did furthering testing.

The results showed a large mass on his intestines, which they believe to be the main intestine. They tested the fluid that was in his stomach (they thought he was sepsis, thank God he’s not). They also tested the fluid, lymph nodes , & liver for cancer. The doctors are 99% sure the liver has cancer. It’s going to the lab for 100% confirmation.

The doctors highly recommend removing the large mass on his intestines, so it does not spread further. This surgery can drastically increase his lifespan and remove the cancer completely.

Loui is such a fun, loving, happy dog. Loui will be turning 6 on December 18. He has such a long life ahead of him & will be by Kaitlyn’s side for all of her major milestones in life. Everyone who meets Loui can’t help but smile.
