Leah was a very healthy, bright eyed 5 year old girl.  In a single somber weekend, that changed suddenly when she was taken by life flight ambulance to UC San Francisco Children’s hospital where she was diagnosed with acute onset liver failure that is relentlessly and rapidly worsening. Critically ill, she remains in the ICU, having been propelled to the priority list for a liver transplant.

Although some of her expenses are covered by insurance, her grandparents who are her legal guardians will need financial assistance for (many) incidental expenses.  With the latter in consideration, our own teenage children have thought to forgo Christmas presents, and instead have created this go fund me page in an effort to support their little cousin Leah’s battle to sustain her young life.
